i am grateful to introduce myself as a full-time wellness practitioner, teacher, and consultant. as an ayurveda health counselor, thai yoga therapist, yoga teacher and former studio owner, i am a friend, accountability partner, and facilitator of community + authentic, meaningful connection.
Since I began teaching yoga in 2010 I have completed thousands of hours of training in various styles of yoga and related healing arts, all of which work together to inform my personal teaching style. I teach a variety of classes including vinyasa + slow flow, Ashtanga ‘Element's’, gentle/therapeutic, restorative, and yin among others. My movement-based classes are challenging but accessible and mindfully-paced with great emphasis on breath, spinal alignment, core connection, and self-awareness. Class rhythms evolve with the changing seasons in alignment with the teachings of Ayurveda.
Working with individuals and small groups is my true passion. I believe in the healing power of authentic and meaningful connection, whether introducing people to yoga for the first time or addressing the specific needs of any level of practitioner through private + small group instruction or the hands-on healing practice of Thai yoga therapy . For students committed to tangible transformation and self-healing I am also pleased to offer personalized diet + lifestyle counseling sessions using the principles of the ancient healing art of Ayurveda.
My job is not to heal you but to inspire you to tap into your own inner wisdom, leading you to design your own unique path to self-healing. My intention is to meet you where you are, give you the tools, and hold you accountable for your own health and wellness. I'm here to help you feel supported and at ease, to encourage confidence and authenticity, and to inspire you to live and practice with more integrity, more compassion, and more joy!
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you feel that I may be of service now or in the future, or if you have any questions.
